Immigration Advising

As an F-1 student, it is your responsibility to maintain your F-1 status while studying in the United States and be responsible for following immigration regulations.

The International Programs office at South is dedicated to educating our students on their requirements to maintain F-1 status. Our office offers advising appointments with advisors, workshops, and online resources.

You can submit many requests online to update your immigration documents (I-20 Form) through SCDGlobal

This website will provide you with additional resources on the basics for how to maintain your F-1 status, employment options as an F-1 student, travel, and how to regain your legal status if needed.

Our staff are trained F-1 advisors who are committed to assisting international students regarding F-1 regulations and policies. Our advisors are available by phone, email, or in person at the International Programs office (WWB 121).
